  The people working in the Huntsville location are either incompetent or unethical, and either way I will not ever attempt to use them again. Yesterday I brought in a handmade ring to be sized. I used Hobbs at the suggestion of the man who created and sold me the ring. I was very quickly and condescendingly told that was my ring was not sterling silver. She tried to upsale me into having the stone set into another band instead of sized. I said I'd rather look elsewhere and try and find someone willing to attempt to resize it and she seemed offended and her tone hardened. That attitude left me feeling weird and with very little effort I was walking out of another store thirty minutes later with a receipt for the sizing of my STERLING SILVER ring. Either this woman didn't know what she was doing, or she did and she was lying to try and sell me on a nicer band. I won't use Hobbs. I won't recommend them and you can bet I'll be telling the man making this jewelry not to refer his customers there. Not just because they were rude and unhelpful but because they don't seem to respect his work.
